During some downtime at the antique store, she wrote a few songs featured on her&nbsp;2013 project&nbsp;<em>The Highway&nbsp;<\/em>and 2009\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Here With Me.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI wrote \u2018Alone,\u2019 and a good portion of \u201cDrinkin\u2019\u201d for my album,&nbsp;<em>The Highway,&nbsp;<\/em>on Serenite&#8217;s covered back porch,&#8221; she told&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/gardenandgun.com\/articles\/our-kind-of-place-a-pickers-paradise\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Garden &amp; Gun<\/a><\/em>. \u201cI had been singing a few verses in my head, and as I sat on the porch\u2019s old wooden chairs overlooking the clear waters of Leiper\u2019s Creek and acres of green farmland, the stillness surrounded me, and the quiet opened up the creative flow. I am a girl who prays for songs. I never know when they will drop out of the sky, so I\u2019m always searching for places like this. It\u2019s a magical spot.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Homer Dever Band pay tribute to the area with \u201cLeiper&#8217;s Fork Standard Time\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n <iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Leipers Fork Standard Time\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/G3A5pBCEZLo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Neighborhood group the Homer Dever Band penned the old-timey &#8220;Leiper&#8217;s Fork Standard Time&#8221; in the mid-2000s. A descriptive song that pays tribute to the area, the feel-good tune serves as the unofficial theme song for Leiper&#8217;s Fork. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An all-star lineup of musicians who played on albums by Hank Williams, Elvis Presley, and Willie Nelson, among others, the men of the Homer Dever Band bonded around their home in Leiper&#8217;s Fork where they frequently played local dances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> &#8220;It&#8217;s a town song,&#8221; Aubrey Preston says of the tune that name-drops Hank Williams. &#8220;I wrote that song and it has words in it that describe the area: &#8216;Ain&#8217;t in a hurry, I got no worries\/ I&#8217;m on Leiper&#8217;s Fork Standard Time.&#8217; We always talk about it being like Island Time out here. It&#8217;s a landlocked version of &#8216;Margaritaville.'&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Justin Timberlake\u2019s creative house and sanctuary is Millville<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/visitfranklin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Millville_Leiper_s_Fork_jpg_HEjPwx2l-1000x750.jpg\" alt=\"Modern hotel lobby with blue sectional sofa, geometric coffee table, and white armchair in Williamson County, Tennessee.\" class=\"wp-image-5002\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>When Timberlake needs to break away from the music and acting world, he retreats to Millville. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Located in the heart of Leiper\u2019s Fork, the century-old home serves as a creative space for Timberlake and owner Trace Ayala, the singer\u2019s best friend who serves as a business partner to Timberlake\u2019s lifestyle clothing brand William Rast. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pair have even shot a promotional video for the clothing line at the Millville house. The space is also home to music artist development company Villa 40 where Southern rockers Bishop Gunn have worked on songs, according to the&nbsp;<em>Tennessean<\/em>. When it isn\u2019t being used for various projects, Millville can be rented as a vacation home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt&#8217;s so easy to stay here and not have to leave town,\u201d Ayala, who moved to Leiper\u2019s Fork from Los Angeles in 2013, told the&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennessean.com\/story\/entertainment\/music\/2016\/09\/22\/why-justin-timberlake-settled-tiny-tennessee-town\/90266076\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tennessean<\/a><\/em>. \u201cWe go to Puckett\u2019s, have a couple beers, go across the street to The Country Boy and have dinner, come here and hang for a while, and then go to Green&#8217;s Grocery.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Leslie Satcher finds songwriting inspiration for countless songs<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Kellie Pickler - Tough\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/BLOEqQW-Bmo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Revered country songwriter Satcher calls Leiper&#8217;s Fork home and has penned countless songs here.
